WHAT IS SAT?
The SAT is an important test that students take to get into college. It is a multiple-choice exam that tests students' abilities in Math and English. The SAT is administered by the College Board. Your SAT scores can also be used to help you get scholarships. Some scholarships are based on your score, and others may be from local or state programs. If you have a high score, you may be eligible for more scholarships.
The College Board states that the SAT is a standardized test meant to measure literacy, numeracy and writing skills. They claim that the SAT assesses how well the test-takers analyze and solve problems, skills that are supposedly learned in school and needed for college. However, the test is given under a time limit to produce a range of scores.
